Produced in 2007, the Scooter Techniques range of DVD’S represents the outcome of an original idea by life long scooterist Ian Skinner. Recognising the need for a quality produced product he enlisted established production company Sound Techniques along with experienced local mechanic Steve Porter A.K.A. Sausage, to turn this idea into a reality.
Passing his Motorcycle Test at 16 yrs of age, Ian has been a scooterist ever since. His first scooter was a cutdown Vespa 90 and has since gone on to own most makes of Vespa and Lambretta, riding them to most corners of the UK along with the odd European excursion including a solo ride to the Algarve in Portugal, and more recently a trip to Euro Lambretta in Sweden
Sausage, again a life long scooterist , currently works as the mechanic for AES Scooters
in Norwich. He too at some stage, has owned most of Innocentis and Piaggios finest models, ridden them far and wide and is very active in his local scooter scene. Many of his scooters have been featured in the scootering press and he will admit that for him scootering is a way of life.
Using the latest digital encryption methods these DVDs are professionally replicated here in the UK.
Filmed by Sound Techniques, the DVDs are produced entirely in the digital domain in their own studio. .
